1940s Irving Schechter Burgundy Jacket with Matching Skirt | XS/S
A stylish 1940s wool gabardine jacket in burgundy red with a matching, newer skirt, made from a stretchy jersey. The colors are not 100% the same but if you wear it as an ensemble, noone will notice. The jacket has a small collar and a rounded bottom. Closes with a padded button. The jacket is lined with satin that is sewn in by hand. Side pockets with flaps.
The skirt is made of a kind of jersey and closes with snaps. It has stretch, but not in the waistband. The skirt is taken in and can be made up to 5 centimeters larger.

In great vintage condition with signs of age. The lining is torn in places, and repaired near the sleeve opening.
There is wear on the buttonhole, that is not visible when it's closed.
