Original 1943 Simplicity printed pattern for a house dress and housecoat. The fitted bodice has a smart surplice line and is joined to the skirt by a slim inset belt. Style 1 wraps over and fastens at the left side, with tie ends forming a bow and soft ruffles at the shoulders. Style 2 features a side-button closing, small collar, and patch pocket on the skirt. Both versions are trimmed with rick-rack braid. Pattern no. 4900, bust 32".
