1940s crepe wool dress with decorative pearl beading. The beads are arranged in clusters of five strands, each a few centimetres long, and are spaced across the top. The silhouette is fit and flare with a sweetheart neckline and a seam at the hip that transitions into flat pleats at both front and back. The short sleeves have a V-shaped opening and an optional cuff finish. Shoulder pleats and front neckline gathers complete the detailing.
The dress is in good overall condition; two bead clusters are missing.
