This jacket was made using an original 1940s pattern, and that’s something you feel immediately when you put it on. It sits right at the waist, has a compact shape, and keeps a clean, purposeful line. The front pockets button closed, the jacket is fully lined, and there are shoulder pads for that typical 1940s structure without it becoming stiff.
The sleeves are finished with cuffs and buttons, keeping the look practical and unfussy. It’s made from a poly/viscose fabric and handmade in the Netherlands, with the focus on getting the proportions right rather than adding decoration. A straightforward, well-balanced jacket that works just as intended.
