1950s style wiggle dress, made from vintage faille fabric with an Egyptian novelty print.
The dress has a fitted cut with a V-neckline at the front and back, small cap sleeves and bust darts. It closes with a zipper at the side. The skirt has small side slits at the hem.
The faille fabric has a light ribbed texture and a firm feel. The print has vertical Egyptian-style panels with figures, hieroglyph-style details and green, blue, brown and black accents on an ivory ground. The print is off-register in places, meaning the colors and outlines do not line up perfectly. This appears to be part of the vintage fabric and is visible throughout the print.
