1940s Flamboyant Black Felt Hat with Large Brim and Bow

An exuberant late 1930s to early 1940s black felt tilt hat. It has an asymmetrical brim, sculpted to drape softly over one side of the face. At the back, the hat is finished with a matching felt bow. The crown is slightly domed and designed to be worn tilted forward over one eye, in the classic style of the era.

In good condition, with signs of age. There is a hole in the front of about 2mm, probably caused by a hat pin.
