S | 1950s / Early 1960s Emerald Cotton Velour Dress by Gerzon Rotterdam

Late 1950s to early 1960s cotton velour dress by Gerzon Rotterdam, made from Niedieck Brillant Fluweel in deep emerald green. The velour has a technical silicone finish typical for this fabric type and period. This is a classic mid-century piece with a clean sheath line, suitable as a day-to-evening dress. The dress has a wide round neckline, shaping darts at the front and back, a back metal zipper, and a back split. At the waist it has two velour straps with decorative buttons and set rhinestones. The fabric has no stretch.
