Lovely original 1940s hat made of finely braided raffia in three horizontal color bands: natural beige, burnt orange, and black. The shape is dome-like with a soft downward curve along the edge, designed to sit tilted on the head. It comes with a black tassel and a decorative gold-tone hatpin — most likely original to the piece. There is no inner structure or lining, and the hat is unlabelled. Can be secured with pins or a comb, depending on your hairstyle.
