Homemade long dress from the 1940s in a rich petrol blue cotton velvet. The dress is ankle length and has cap sleeves with a square neckline finished with layered panels at the bust. The bodice is made to give the effect of a bolero worn over the dress. It has bust darts and shaping seams that extend all the way down to the hem. Slight flare from the waist. Closes with a metal side zipper. Made of sturdy cotton velvet without stretch.
