Black leather handbag with a wide, elongated shape, a deep base and black piping along the edges. A rigid, leather-covered metal frame closes with two sliding catches and a central lock. The key is attached by a narrow strap with a small leather cover. Vintage from the 1940s/50s. Black fabric lining with two interior pockets, one zipped. The carrying handle has been replaced.

In good vintage condition with surface scratches, creasing and wear, particularly along the side folds and edges. Tarnishing and wear to the metal fittings, with some marks to the lining. Replacement handle.
