This home made 1950s cotton dress features a large-scale novelty bird print with stylised mid-century motifs. The bodice is strapless with narrow spaghetti straps and a gathered bust. The waist is shaped with darts at the back. The skirt is wide and full, cut close to a half circle with gathered sections. It closes with a metal side zipper. The dress is photographed with a petticoat for volume; the petticoat is not included.
Measurements: • Bust 92 cm / 36.25" • Waist 70 cm / 27.5" • Hip free • Top length measured at the side 22 cm / 8.75" • Skirt length 75 cm / 29.5" Size is small.
In good condition, it has some stains, mainly on the skirt. The shoulder straps are a bit yellowed and one has bit of damage. See images.
