1950s American handbag by Rialto of New York, featuring a carved, pearlized lucite frame and matching handle in a soft champagne colour.The body is made from cream-coloured fabric with fine vertical gold metallic stripes, protected by a clear plastic covering. The carved frame has a geometric design at the centre, with a pointed clasp and gold-tone metal fittings.
The interior is also lined with transparent plastic and features a clear plastic side pocket. Marked Rialto N.Y. on the inside of the frame.

In good vintage condition apart from a water stain on the fabric beneath the clear plastic covering, as shown in the last photograph.
