Black velours 1940s-style dress based on an original pattern. Soft V-neck with a narrow standing edge, bust darts, and short cut-on sleeves. Straight to slightly flared skirt with two small back slits. Side zipper. No stretch. The dress is visibly too large for the mannequin; on a wearer in the correct size, the waist and shoulder line read much better.
