Chiffon over acetate dress by Roos Bros California, dating from the 1950s. The dress has a pleated bodice and skirt, a wrap-style top, and a fringed satin sash at the waist. It closes with a metal zipper at the back. The chiffon overlay gives the dress light movement, while the acetate underlayer provides structure.
