Large black/grey novelty handbag featuring a colorful underwater scene with three stylized fish. The appliqué combines rope, woven reed, fabric and raffia, with small colorful beads forming bubbles around the fish.
The black body has a subtle woven texture and the handle and trim are made from a vinyl-like material. The bag closes with a zipper and has an expandable accordion-style base, allowing the otherwise flat bag to open wider. The interior is clean and very well preserved.
Its exact date is uncertain. Based on the construction and materials, I believe it dates from the 1970s, maybe even 1980s, while the stylized fish graphics have a distinct 1950s atomic look.

In excellent vintage condition and appears unused. There are a few small loose fibres around the handle, which appear to be related to the original manufacturing rather than wear. The interior is in excellent condition. This is a vintage item. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.
