XS | 1950s/60s Deadstock Red And Gold Brocade Cheongsam Dress 1950s/60s cheongsam dress in red satin brocade with a gold woven pattern. The dress has a narrow straight cut, an upright collar, a V-neckline at the front and a satin frog closure. It has darts at the bust, waist shaping at the front and back, and a metal zipper at the right side. The side splits at the hem are finished with satin binding and measure 21 cm / 8.25". The fabric is firm and has no stretch, so the dress should not be worn too tight. This is new old stock, but it has been stored folded.
Measurements: • Bust 90 cm / 35.5" • Waist 69 cm / 27.25" • Hip 92 cm / 36.25" • Shoulder 11.5 cm / 4.5" • Total length 113 cm / 44.5" • Side splits 21 cm / 8.25" Size is extra small.
In fair condition. The dress has repairs at the shoulders and light storage lines in the satin from being stored folded, and an unobtrusive dark mark on the bust (see last photos). Due to the narrow cut and firm brocade fabric, the dress does not fall completely smoothly when worn.
