A late 1950s/early 1960s pencil dress in glossy petrol satin, with one shoulder strap and fringe trim. The dress has an angled fringe panel across the bust and fringe trim around the hem. The fringe appears to have been added later. The bodice has layered construction, a gathered section under the bust, and multiple shaping seams. The dress is fitted through the body, with double darts at the front and back. It closes at the back with a long metal zipper.
Please note that the color is difficult to photograph accurately. In person, the dress has a richer glossy petrol tone that leans toward emerald green. The exact color could not be captured well with the camera or corrected accurately in editing.

In fair condition. The dress has a small hole at the front near the hip. The fringe trim appears to be a later addition.
