This beautiful 1940s black crepe dress has long sleeves with small buttons and slits at the cuffs, wide padded shoulders with smocked detailing, and a fitted bodice shaped with darts at the front and back. The skirt has asymmetrically arranged layered panels decorated with flowing lines of gold trim embroidery embellished with transparent sequins which continues across approximately two-thirds of the back.
