1940s wool gabardine jacket paired with a newly made matching skirt. The jacket is labeled Vinson’s Long Beach and Imported Cohama Fabric, and features a shawl collar, large shoulder pads, three fabric-covered buttons, and decorative front flaps that resemble pockets but function more like a soft peplum. Fully lined in rayon.
The six-gore skirt is a modern reproduction, designed to coordinate with the original jacket. It closes with a metal zipper and button at the side. While the fabric is slightly smoother and the color is not an exact match, the difference is minimal when worn as a set.
