Elegant ankle-length 1940s dress made from smooth wool jersey. The design features beautifully constructed pleat details at the shoulders, sleeve openings, and waist. V-neck with a revere collar and unique shoulder padding construction. The dress has side pockets and a side zipper (not original). At the hem on both sides, there are press studs that allow you to lift and fasten the skirt at the waist, creating a sarong or kaftan-like effect.
Measurements:
• Bust 88 cm / 34.75"
• Waist 70 cm / 27.5"
• Hip free
• Shoulder 14.5 cm + additional shoulder piece 6 cm / 5.75" + 2.25"

In good condition. There are two pinholes on the shoulder and a slightly larger hole on the back (see last photo). The skirt also has a few small holes near the hem. These flaws are not noticeable due to the busy pattern of the fabric.
This is a vintage item.
