Stunning 1950s Pin-up bathing suit by Rose Marie Reid of California in red and silver lamé. A classic piece of vintage swimwear that embodies the glamor of the era. This swimsuit features a metal zipper at the back with two hooks and eyes for a secure fit. The halter-style top has straps that tie around the neck.
The bust area is lined with soft cotton and has boned cups and sides for shaping and support. The back of the swimsuit and the leg opening have elastic.
The front of the skirt has a sheath with a drapery that hugs the body, creating a flattering silhouette. Above the sheath, there is an asymmetrical drapery that adds an element of visual interest to the design.

This swimsuit is in excellent vintage condition but has minor wear on the lamé, see pictures. The white cotton crotch has been repaired. Additional pictures on request.
