1930s Brown Velvet Hat With Asymmetric Brim | Rose Descat Paris

This early 1930s brown velvet hat has a softly shaped crown and a wide asymmetric brim, turned upwards at one side. A bow made from narrow velvet bands decorates the side of the hat. The interior is finished with a grosgrain band and a woven Rose Descat Paris label.

Rose Descat was a Parisian milliner whose designs are represented in museum collections, including the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.

Size is small.
