1940s Woven Textured Navy Halo Hat

1940s summer halo hat in deep navy, woven from what appears to be plastic, but could be straw or sisal, with a scale-like, overlapping texture. It has a round crown and sculpted brim. Inside, a soft grosgrain inner cap holds the hat in place and creates the classic halo silhouette around the head. The original hat elastic is no longer functional (no stretch), but the hat can still be worn as intended or with a replacement.

• Side to side 31 cm / 12.25"
• Head circumference approx. 51–52 cm / 20–20.5"
