1940s/50s Black Raffia High Crown Hat

Late 1940s to early 1950s black toque hat with a high, rounded crown. The hat has a black felt base, with the crown and sides covered in glossy, crinkled synthetic raffia. A plain black felt band runs around the front. The tall silhouette is designed to sit slightly back on the head. No maker’s label is present.

In good vintage condition. There is some light wear and rubbing to the felt.
