1940s/50s Valensy Grey Wide Brim Felt Picture Hat

1940s/50s picture hat made from grey felt. The hat has a low crown, a very wide brim, and a grosgrain inner band with a double elastic to secure. It has a Valensy label inside.

Measurements:
• Length approx. 41 cm / 16.25"
• Width approx. 38 cm / 15"
• Inner circumference approx. 52 cm / 20.5"

In good condition with signs of age. The hat presents beautifully, but it is slightly misshapen from storage. There are a few picks in the felt, some small marks, and a small bite out of the edge of the brim. The elastic has no stretch left.
