1940s Black Cordé Handbag with Amber Plastic Handles

Tan leather box bag with a floral and leaf pattern tooled into the front and shaped flap from the 1950s/60s. A diamond lattice pattern covers the back and wide carrying handle. Leather lacing runs along the edges.
Gold-tone metal clasp and handle fittings. Unlined leather interior.

In very good vintage condition with some surface scratches, scuffing and dark marks, particularly on the base. The small leather piece attaching the handle to the bag has been replaced.
