Charming 1940s black muff purse, combining a handbag with a traditional handwarmer. Made from black wool with a wide border of tightly curled Astrakhan fur and finished with softly gathered black fabric along the edges.
The purse has a satin wrist strap and a concealed gold-tone metal zipper. The black lined interior includes a small pocket finished with contrasting gold piping.
Measurements: • Width: 30 cm / 11 3/4” • Height: 25 cm / 9 3/4”
In excellent vintage condition. The wool, Astrakhan and fabric trim are well preserved, and the zipper works properly. The interior is clean.
