Sculptural green wool felt hat from the early 1940s, inspired by the Robin Hood style popular at the time. It has a tiered, asymmetrical crown and upturned brim with matching grosgrain tabs at the sides. The compact, angular shape is typical of early-1940s millinery, designed to sit tilted slightly forward or to one side.
Measurements: • Front to back 25 cm / 9.75" • Height 15 cm / 6"
Makeup marks are visible on the inside band. There is a small hole at the back (not noticeable when worn) and several small nibbles to the felt surface. Price reflects condition. This is a vintage item. Please review all photos carefully before purchasing.
