1950s/60s Structured Raffia Straw Handbag With Metal Handles

Structured woven straw handbag from the 1950s/60s, with a hard shell body and a metal frame all around. The bag has double metal handles, a clasp closure at the top and a beige patterned lining inside.
The outside is made of lacquered woven straw or raffia, with a neat geometric weave.

In good vintage condition. The woven straw exterior is in very good shape. The metal frame and handles show age-related wear and patina, but there are no worn-through spots. The lining has visible signs of use and some marks, mainly inside and near the corners. The clasp closes well.
