1930s/1940s Sterling Silver Heart Screw Back Earrings

Pair of heart-shaped screw back earrings made from sterling silver, set with ruby red rhinestones. The earrings are fitted with original screw back closures, stamped sterling on the ends.
The fronts have a warm-toned finish, likely the remains of original gold plating over sterling silver. One earring appears slightly warmer in tone than the other, consistent with natural wear and age-related patina.
The rhinestones are pavé set and appear complete. The earrings have a solid construction typical of late 1930s to early 1940s jewelry.
