M | 1930s Brick Red Crinkle Crepe Dress With Puffed Sleeves

1930s brick red dress made from satin-backed crinkle crepe, with a textured outer surface and a smoother, softly lustrous reverse. The fabric has a little natural give.
The high neckline has a shaped inset with smocking and a small V at the front. Darts extend down from the shoulders, and the short puffed sleeves have pleating at the shoulders and lower sleeves. A fitted bodice joins a gently flared skirt at the waist.
Fastens at the back with nine pearl-effect buttons. Belt loop at the waist; no belt included.
