S | 1930s/1940s Petrol Blue Rayon Dress

Petrol blue rayon dress dating from the late 1930s to early 1940s. The dress has a small scalloped collar and a defined waist seam. It closes at the front with hook and eye closures and has a small slit at the neckline. The bodice is softly gathered at the center front and continues into a narrow double fabric band that runs towards the back.

The shoulders are lightly gathered with additional fabric inside to add volume. The sleeves taper towards the wrists and close with seven small fabric-covered buttons and loops. The skirt flares gently and has darts at the back. There is a metal side zipper. Slight stretch in the fabric.
