S | 1940s/50s Sports Kraft Navy Rayon Blouse

This navy blouse by Sports Kraft has a silk feel and dates to the late 1940s to early 1950s. The blouse has a classic open revere collar with an additional small button under the collar so it can be closed higher at the neckline if preferred. It fastens at the front with buttons. The long sleeves are finished with cuffs that close with matching loop and button closures, identical to the front closure system.

The blouse has shaping seams at the front and back, with a central back seam and a small inverted pleat for movement. At the shoulders, overlapping pleats add subtle volume. The lowest front button has been replaced with a snap fastener, useful for a smoother tuck-in.
