Handmade 1950s style green silk lamé cocktail dress by Guyé.
The dress has a slim straight cut with a fringed bodice and fringe trim at the hem. It has thin shoulder straps, a soft V-shaped front and layered fringe across the bust. The skirt has a narrow pencil shape and a back slit for ease of movement. It closes at the back with a long metal zipper and a hook and eye closure. The bodice is lined.
The horizontal slubs and irregular lines in the fabric are inherent to the silk and part of its natural texture.
