XS/S | 1950s Beaded Wool Gabardine Jacket Suitmaker Montreal

A lovely fitted wool gabardine jacket dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s. Made by Suitmaker Ltd. Montreal. The jacket has a tailored silhouette with shaping at the front and back and closes with fabric-covered buttons and a snap on top. It has three-quarter length sleeves that widen slightly toward the cuff and include underarm gussets.
The collar and (faux) pocket flaps are decorated with black glass beadwork, all intact. The jacket is fully lined and beautifully made, a piece of quality mid-century tailoring.
