Sculptural green wool felt hat from the early 1940s, inspired by the Robin Hood style popular at the time. It has a tiered, asymmetrical crown and upturned brim with matching grosgrain tabs at the sides. The compact, angular shape is typical of early-1940s millinery, designed to sit tilted slightly forward or to one side.
