A rare, late 1940s/early 1950s two piece suit by Lilli Ann, made of grey flecked blue gabardine wool with blush pink crepe rayon lining. The jacket has a tailored fit with padded shoulders, upholstered buttons, and turned-up cuffs with pointed detail. Typical Lilli Ann contrasting blue color block elements highlight the collar and faux pockets with symmetrical trim. The skirt is straight cut with darts front and back, and closes with a metal side zipper, button, and hook-and-eye.

In good condition with alterations. One small repair on the jacket front near the hem, neatly done and not very noticeable (see last image). One button is missing, and there is a tiny pinhole on the sleeve. The collar shows light soiling and would benefit from a dry clean. The skirt lining has been partially removed.
