1950s/60s structured handbag, handmade in Hong Kong. The bag is made from woven rattan with what appears to be a thin protective plastic coating. It has a rounded rectangular shape, a metal handle wrapped in a flexible spiral and a metal twist-lock closure. The interior is lined with printed fabric in cream, rust red and black. The bag has one main compartment.

In good vintage condition with visible signs of age and use. There is green oxidation around parts of the closure and rust to the hinges beneath the leather strips at the base. The bag still opens and closes correctly. The lining has a few small holes and appears to have been reattached in several places. Price adjusted to condition.
