1950s sheer organza dress with a hand-painted floral design in blue, pink, and white on a soft grey ground. The wide boat neckline is finished with a decorative ruffle detail at the center front. The bodice is shaped with darts and short cap sleeves.
The skirt is full and gathered, trimmed with a matching ruffle at the hem. The organza is semi-transparent and intended to be worn with a slip. The dress closes with a metal side zipper.
There is slight discoloration at one armhole, visible on close inspection. Photographed with petticoat, not included in the sale.
