A beautiful tailored jacket from the 1940s, made from wool gabardine with a brown and beige herringbone stripe. Labeled Co-mar Regd – Tailor Made. The fabric pattern is carefully matched at the collar and pockets.
The jacket has a revere collar, a six-button front closure, and one button at each cuff. It has functional chevron shaped pockets, a pointed front hem, and a center back vent starting at the waist. The jacket has pronounced shoulder pads and shaping through the waist, with double seams at the front and a single seam at the back. It is fully lined in gold-toned rayon satin.
