Late 1940s shirtwaist-style dress made of lightweight rayon with a soft drape. The fabric has a subtle beige heathered base and a red and black floral print. It has a large flat collar, short sleeves with turned-up cuffs, and closes at the front with two faceted transparent buttons. Additional side closure with two press studs. The waist is shaped with darts at the front and back and has a matching tie belt with original belt loops.
The skirt is made from four panels and flares out gently. The dress has a classic late 40s silhouette with soft tailoring and a relaxed fit.
