Blue velvet swagger coat from the late 1940s or early 1950s. The coat is made from velvet and has a straight, generous cut with ample width. It closes with a single large button at the front and comes with a matching belt. The sleeves are long and gathered at the cuffs with a wide turn-up. The coat has large patch pockets at the front. Inside, the coat is fully lined with a pink-blue iridescent quilted lining and features a Milium metal insulated lining, used in mid-century outerwear for added warmth without heavy bulk.

In good condition. One side of the collar shows discoloration. This does not affect the wearability of the coat. A strategic brooch placed at the collar would largely conceal this.
