1950s/60s cotton barkcloth dress with woven stripes in blue and white, with raised purple, yellow and white stripes. The dress has a wide square neckline, a fitted bodice with front, back and bust darts, and a full skirt with wide flat pleats.
The front has a purple centre panel with white ruffle trim and 8 buttons. It closes at the side with a metal zipper. There is a size 40 label inside. Photographed with petticoat for volume, not included.

In fair condition. There are stains on the ruffled trim at the front bodice. This is a vintage item.
