This is a Lily Scarlet made shirt dress, sewn after an original 1940s pattern. Made from sturdy vintage wool fabric in a small check pattern. The dress has authentic 1940s details: gathered shoulders, pleats at the front, a classic shirt collar, long sleeves with cuffs, and a tea-length skirt with a front pleat. It closes with a long metal side zipper and has hand-finished belt loops with the original matching belt. The belt is finished with a vintage celluloid buckle. Buttons at the front are vintage celluloid as well.
