This 1940s (or late 30s) dress is made from black rayon crepe with black lace placed over a nude underlayer. The sweetheart bodice has ruching at the centre with fabric-covered buttons. The skirt is constructed with pointed crepe panels that transition into lace for a wide, flowing shape. The dress has a keyhole opening at the back with a loop-and-button closure. Metal side zipper. Small cap sleeves in lace.
